Cernunnos Clay Pottery Ritual Rattle, Handmade Stoneware Altar Shaker. Herne Ritual Rattle, the classic torc and snake holding image impressed on each end. The sides are textured and rolled clay, with interior clay balls to add the shake! Light weight, fits well in the hand. Unglazed with iron wash to show all the detail, they are 1 1/2 in circumference and vary from 2.5 to 3 inches long.
Clay Green Man Rattle Shaker
Clay Green Man Rattle Shaker, the classic Green Man face surrounded by leaves. This design has warm eyes and leaves that seem to flow from his mouth. The top is molded in stoneware and then the form itself is hand sculpted in stoneware with textured sides, with interior clay balls to add the shake! Light weight, fits well in the hand. Unglazed with iron wash pictured to show all the detail carving, it is 2 inches tall by 3 inches wide. Also in copper green, or wood ash brown.

Hand thrown stoneware medium size doumbek with a checkerboard pattern of incised squares in turquoise slip, accented with cobalt blue dots. The glaze is my smooth buttermilk that picks up all the subtleties of the form. This has a flawless goat skin to compliment the drum.

Thrown in one piece and light in weight for its size, it has a great range of tones, and is sensitive to every finger touch. This is glazed with my matte brown glaze smooth and sensual. It is decorated with a Shamash symbol on one side, flanked by a Marduk Minotaur image. This has a beautiful orange tie dyed skin with purple accents to compliment the drum. A tiny pea sized amount spread over your hands does the trick. I work in water doing ceramics all day and drum three nights a week.
