Professional Djembe Casha Wood Mali Drum is carved of rich dark heart wood grain. Casha (Cassia Siamea) is a rare wood used in urban plantings in the city of Bamako. It is very dark brown and striped, almost black color. and is a dense and hard wood with great sound. A beautiful freckle spotted medium Mali skin gives this one a smooth rich tone. It has great Mali bass, and the tones and slaps you expect. Handsome full trumpet basket weave carving design.
